National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) – The New York and New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council certifies The Standard Group as a minority owned and operated business enterprise.
SEDEX/SMETA – The Standard Group achieves Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria though a SEDEX Assessment audit to comply with the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code and the SMETA 4-Pillar Best Practice Guidance & Measurement. These SMETA 4-Pillars are Labor Standards & Practices, Business Ethics & Integrity, Employee Health & Safety, and Environmental & Sustainability Initiatives.
Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) – The Standard Group is a member of the PPC, the leading trade organization serving suppliers and converters of all forms of paperboard packaging.
American Institute of Baking International (AIB) – The Standard Group complies with AIB Consolidated Standards for Food Contact Packaging Manufacturing Facilities. This certification demonstrates the commitment to ensure a clean and safe environment for food packaging.
Forestry Stewardship Council® (FSC®) (License Number: C167904) – The Standard Group promotes and supports environmentally sound, socially beneficial, and economically prosperous management of the world’s forests and its products. To achieve this requirement, we supply our customers with FSC certified paperboard and FSC Chain-of-Custody (COC) converting practices.
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) – UL is a global leader in testing, inspection, certification auditing, and validation. The Standard Group meets all of their requirements to qualify as an “Authorized UL Label Supplier.”
British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRCGS) – BRCGS Packaging Materials Issue 6 certification helps packaging organizations support the delivery of safe and hygienic consumer goods, such as food and personal care products. The BRCGS is the first packaging standard in the world to be recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
G7 Master Facility Colorspace (G7) – Through Idealliance® specifications, The Standard Group has achieved the level of G7 Master Qualification with colorspace compliance by demonstrating through production of print and/or proofing, the knowledge, skill, and best practices required to effectively operate the G7 methodology in a graphic communications production environment.
Graphic Measures International (GMI) – GMI supports the control of variables through print facility certification and scientific, repeatable, measurements of global graphics and packaging for brand owners and private label products. The Standard Group is certified to monitor, produce, and measure the performance of this criteria in its packaging products..
